Back Three

7.5. Played solid throughout, showcasing all of his known strengths, from his athleticism to his attacking ability. Benefited from being slotted in a wider centerback role, rather than a central two. He did have one super, super clumsy tackle there at the death, which I think gave us all a conniption, but in the end, it didn’t come back to bite us.. CB. Arsenal. SHKODRAN MUSTAFI

7.7. Had only two real issues, but in between those two noticeable problems was a match played to near perfection. He knows how to wield his body back there and he knows how to defend. Have no idea why he’s been kept out for so long, but this made it clear who our best defender is, and it is the Greek.. CB. Arsenal. SOKRATIS

7.1. He was good. Nothing spectacular. Had a few nervy moments and played some questionable balls, but overall, as long as nothing comes back to bite, it’s hard to criticize too hard. He did look the weakest of the three, but it was a fairly solid defensive match throughout.. CB. Arsenal. ROB HOLDING
