Wingbacks

6.7. So much of the attacking threat came from the two wingbacks in this one. The only reason why Bellerin hasn’t had more to do, and therefore hasn’t gotten as high of a rating, is because Kolasinac was a monster throughout. He was crucial to how this one played out, so much so that he overshadowed Bellerin to the point of making him forgotten.. RB. Arsenal. HECTOR BELLERIN

8.2. Man of the Match. Fantastic presence out there. Clearly much better suited as a wingback, where he is allowed to attack freely, because he does fantastic with it. Nearly every threat came from the left hand side, and that’s because of Kolasinac’s deceptive speed and his ability to maintain the ball and use his strength in combination with his pace. Crucial assist that not even Aubameyang could fluff and, if assists were given for own goals, he’d have another. Tied for the team lead in chances created, won the ball back more than anyone bar Mustafi – it was just a fantastic return to form from the Bosnian. LB. Arsenal. SEAD KOLASINAC
