2. Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang

I think we all saw a part of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang that we didn’t know existed. Or maybe we did, but we just hadn’t seen it in awhile.

More from Pain in the Arsenal

Up until last night, Aubameyang had made a killing doing one thing incredibly well – scoring goals. He was also fast, and passionate, and stuff, but nothing stood out like his ability to score goals. It was all he did and we were glad to have him for it. I mean, the dude has scored on 30% of the shots he’s taken and he leads the league in goals.

But against Tottenham, particularly when Lacazette got on the pitch alongside him, Aubameyang looked a new man. He looked determined to change the game in every way he possibly could, and that included leading the team in tackles and spearheading the press that worked so incredibly well.

Now that we’ve seen that side of Aubameyang, I want to see it again. And even if it does only step up in big matches, well, that’s okay too, because United is a big match, yet one that we should be fully confident in taking care of.

Finally, moving on to No. 1.
