Arsenal welcomed Wolverham…. I mean Huddersfield to the Emirates in a match that should have been a bit cleaner than it ended up being. It was clear that Wolverh…. I mean Huddersfield had one clear directive in the first half – frustrate the Gunners.
They did that. They did it to perfection. Although, it has to be said that Arsenal had some fantastic, unmissable chances that they just… missed.
Granit Xhaka put one on a silver plate for Aubameyang, who spit it wide, and mere minutes later, Lacazette was all by himself right in front of net and he… well, he did a Yaya Sanogo, kicking it off his other leg and sputtering it over the net.

That said, Lacazette did have a goal ruled out on a blatantly incorrect offside call, so on that note, the Gunners should have been up going into half-time.
