Arsenal needed to get back to their winning ways against Burnley, but the Clerics played them tight. Here are the player ratings.
Arsenal were coming off of two straight losses for the first time since August, having just seen their 22-match unbeaten streak snapped under one week ago.
Burnley had not been their usual self, despite the recurring cast of characters and, early on, the Gunners were quick to jump on that. A few glaring opportunities presented themselves to the hosts early on, but Burnley proved up to defending in last-ditch fashion.
A beautiful Wenger-esque goal in the 14th minute gave the first lead of the game to Arsenal, with Aubameyang closing out a perfect run started by Ozil and assisted by Kolasinac, who was, as expected, all over the place, a living train.

For the first time this year, the Gunners were winning at half time.
The game didn’t get any easier in the second half, oddly enough, despite a 48th minute goal that was quickly answered for by Burnley. What ensued was a nervous wreck of events that was only finally put to bed when Alex Iwobi was in the right place at the right time for the third and drama-ending goal.
