Arsenal face the scary task of travelling to Anfield and playing the unbeaten Jurgen Klopp on Saturday. Here is the Gunners’ predicted starting XI for the terrifying trip.

Sometimes, there are games that you just do not want to play. Saturday evening’s trip to Anfield is most certainly one of those games. Arsenal, after just one win in their last four games, face an unbeaten Liverpool who have a six-point advantage at the top of the table and seem to be slowly clicking into gear, which is frightening for everyone else. Unai Emery has some thinking to do. And I have some hiding behind a sofa to prepare for.

Goalkeeper

Bernd Leno didn’t cover himself in glory for Brighton’s lone goal on Boxing Day, although he could hardly be blamed for Stephan Lichtsteiner’s criminal glanced header into the danger zone. It was not the glaring weakness that will see him dropped, but it might give Unai Emery some doubts and Petr Cech a little hope.
