Centre-Backs

4.9. Was he good? No. The entire defense was at fault for a paltry effort. But I don’t think that you can fairly point at Mustafi and gripe about him in individuality. Yes, it was his side of the pitch that gave up every single goal, but again, that falls on Lichtsteiner and Iwobi, not Mustafi, who wasn’t always able to pick up the pieces. I don’t think this was Mustafi’s best game, but it was far from his worst.. RCB. Arsenal. SHKODRAN MUSTAFI

Arsenal. LAURENT KOSCIELNY. 7.1. Despite the horrid defensive showing all match long, Koscielny was quite good. He had his way on the defense, clearing when it was getting dicey and controlling when he could. Much like Leno, though, he was stranded more times than not. His goal was so well taken and gave us the only boost we would get all match. If he can stay healthy, it’s nice to know that we’ll be able to count on him for the rest of the season and hopefully next.. CB
