Inspirational throughout the match. His attacking play was brilliant. Perhaps not so much in the midfield and defensive spheres, but in the attack, he put tons of pressure on on the Huddersfield back line and got rewarded with an assist. He was a rambunctious thing, winning the ball, driving the attack, but also playing a few really poor passes that put the Gunners in numerous pickles. Call it the ‘just back from injury’ shakes.

That cross for the first goal was the best cross I’ve seen this year. And he had so many other of his token runs, all the way to the opposing goal line, where he is so deadly. The best aprt is that he doesn’t just drive and cross, drive and cross – he makes sure there is something there, he makes sure that there’s a reason to cross before he does. That’s what makes him such a valuable wingback, the kind that you can build a gameplan around.
