SUB. Arsenal. LUCAS TORREIRA. 6.5. Perfectly tidy but not really the sub that was needed, although I understand Xhaka needed to be substituted with few minutes under his legs of late. Not exactly the player you want to sign when chasing a goal, however.

PIERRE-EMERICK AUBAMEYANG. 5.0. Stop coming short, please. Slightly confused as to what position he was playing, a kind of half winger, half striker, with Mkhitaryan a nearly wing-back. Seemed a little confused from Emery, really, and Aubameyang suffered as a result.. SUB. Arsenal

4.5. I hate to say this, but Suarez might be a dud. Obviously, he has not yet started a match and has only played in difficult matches — in this one, the pitch made it difficult. But he occupies the wrong spaces, misplaces passes, and creates little. He does have a nice shifty dribbling style, though. SUB. Arsenal. DENIS SUAREZ
