Arsenal took a huge wave of momentum into the North London Derby, but a lack of clinical finishing saw this one to a draw. Here are the player ratings.

Arsenal took a very different starting XI into the North London Derby than the one that ran rampant over Bournemouth, with Mesut Ozil, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Sead Kolasinac on the bench – three of the most important attackers against the Cherries.

But it was clear early on why Unai Emery did that – for the work rate. In their stead, we had Aaron Ramsey, Alex Iwobi and Matteo Guendouzi kept his place alongside Henrikh Mkhitaryan, all of whom were swarming the pitch, whether it be in the attack or defense, and it paid off in a big way when Aaron Ramsey ran the entire half of the pitch and dinked home after driving Lloris into the ground.

Taking a lead into half was huge, but it was only half of the bargain.

The second half brought more of the same excitement. The Gunners defended so incredibly well until a set-piece, where Harry Kane was blatantly offside, gave way to a pen, when Shkodran Mustafi so foolishly clattered into the back of Kane.

Again though, it was unanimous from everyone except the linesman – Kane was offside.

Still he took the pen and converted, which is more than Aubameyang could say when he was gifted a penalty in the 90th and telegraphed it straight to Lloris.

It was a shared point, and a disappointing one, because we deserved better. Here are the player ratings.
