Fullbacks

RB. Arsenal. SHKODRAN MUSTAFI. 5.6. Was happy to see him get the start as a fullback, and while he didn’t have much to do, he took care of what did need doing. At least, that was early on. His clattering challenge through the back of Kane was infuriating, but let’s call it for what it is – Kane was offside. The tackle shouldn’t have mattered. I refuse to completely discredit a guy for one mistake, especially when that mistake should have been negated. He wasn’t bad outside of that mistake. Not bad at all.

7.8. Crucial early on, winning back the ball, suffocating and swarming wherever he was needed on the defense. Did so well on the overlap too, creating a golden chance for <a rel=. LB. Arsenal. NACHO MONREAL
