Central Midfield

Was remarkably silent early on, only getting 19 touches in the first half. Didn’t do much more in the second half either, though in the few odd moments of control, he was at the heart of it. Even though he wasn’t his usual self, he didn’t turn into a liability in the frantic style of the match, so give him credit for holding his own.. CM. Arsenal. GRANIT XHAKA. 6.7

7.1. Played quite well in the 45 minutes he was out there. Defended well both in his own box and in midfield and was quick to take that driving step to push play forward, navigating tight spaces. Was hugely responsible for smothering Spurs attackers, particularly Eriksen.. CM. Arsenal. MATTEO GUENDOUZI
