6.0. About the only player to have any sort of bravery and impetus on the ball. Was willing to play forwards, acting as a ‘protagonist’, as Unai Emery has often put it this season. Shame he could not play the full 90 minutes thanks to injury.. SUB. Arsenal. AARON RAMSEY

Arsenal. PIERRE-EMERICK AUBAMEYANG. 4.0. Barely realised he came on, to be honest. Had just 12 touches all half, one fewer than Alex Iwobi, who came on 29 minutes after. Has always been a striker that relies on service, and there was little to none of that here.. SUB

ALEX IWOBI. 7.0. MAN OF THE MATCH: The fact that a player who wasn’t introduced until the 74th minute is the Man of the Match tells you everything you need to know. Direct, purposeful, creative, industrious. All the things you need to be away from. Everything Arsenal weren’t.. LW. Arsenal
