2. Alexandre Lacazette

Everything that I wrote about Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, apply it here as well. But there’s a reason why Lacazette is further up on the list, as there always is, and there’s a reason why Lacazette is a more influential player than Aubameyang, and that’s solely because he can create for himself and for others much better.

More from Pain in the Arsenal

Aubameyang has combined well with Lacazette when they’ve had the opportunity to do so, but it’s primarily been Lacazette making the difference, often the unseen difference, as his movement off the ball has prompted so much positive attacking play this year.

But at the end of the day, it really does come down to his ability to finish. It was missing against Everton, and he would have proven to be a much bigger difference maker, and that can’t be missing against Napoli, because then we’re at the whims of players that I trust far less to put the ball in the back of the net.

We’re at home, we’re going to have a stacked attack (assumedly), let’s see the best of Lacazette guide us to a cozy, padded lead.

Finally, and most importantly (obviously), No. 1.
