Arsenal: The case for selling each and every player this summer
By Josh Sippie
Granit Xhaka
This will not be the hardest thing I’ve ever written: the case to sell Granit Xhaka. I should have just delegated this to one of the many blind fans out there that don’t appreciate him.

Granit Xhaka was having a tremendous year until the mistake bug bit him in the arse the last few weeks of the season. Just like that, questions were asked about whether he had actually changed, or whether he had just masked his failings better than he had before.
With the answer to that question not provided until we see what happens next year, it may be best to just ship him out while the getting is still good. It’s no secret that his style of play is not necessarily conducive to the Premier League, and that he would probably thrive in some La Liga or Serie A, where he has more time, and wouldn’t be asked to do as much defending.
That right there could bet he key to fetching a handsome transfer fee for a man that will go down as one of the more under-appreciated players in recent years alongside Olivier Giroud.
Some want Xhaka to be captain, some want him sold. Whatever the case, he still has tremendous value in the transfer market and that may alter Unai Emery’s intentions to keep him.
Will we sell? I hate that I have to say ‘Maybe.’
Should we sell? Hell no.
Ideal transfer fee: £40m
To the young guys.
