Arsenal: The case for selling each and every player this summer
By Josh Sippie
Matteo Guendouzi
Matteo Guendouzi has had an up and down year, but considering that he was a Ligue 2 player last year and that he’s only 20-years-old should see his name immediately removed from the possibility of being sold. In fact, he was No. 3 on my short list of Arsenal’s untouchables, though if being untouchable is quantifiable, he is the least untouchable.

And that’s just because there have been murmurings of a potential move to PSG in the region of £60m, and that lone is the propelling factor being a potential sale. If you can get that much for a player that won’t be missed that much in the here and now, you can reinvest it in ways that can benefit the here and now.
Guendouzi has a fantastic future ahead of him, but Unai Emery needs to decide if that is more important than getting back on track sooner rather than later. If he opts for sooner, Guendouzi is a prime candidate to be sold to make way for some more relevant present-day talent.
Of course, Guendouzi is only going to get better, right? I guess there is always that chance that this is the peak of his value, which just means that if you don’t sell him now, you’ll never have a better opportunity to.
Will we sell? No.
Should we sell? No.
Ideal transfer fee: £60m
