Arsenal: The case for selling each and every player this summer
By Josh Sippie
Mesut Ozil
The man I think needs to be sold the most, and I know a lot agree with me too. It’s simple enough to make the case to sell Mesut Ozil. He makes too much money and does too little to merit that much money. There, done.

The fact that he is a tremendously gifted magician with the ball at his feet, and that he can turn defenses inside out, and that he is an assist kingpin, doesn’t matter because, in the end, that magic and that ability is only seen a fraction of the time, yet he is being paid as if we are seeing it all the time.
This is his worst year since joining Arsenal by a long shot, but his name alone still carries a value that should fetch a decent enough transfer fee. The only problem that could get in the way is the simple fact that no one wants to pay him those kind of wages because no one can afford them. Not even Arsenal.
That’s what worries me though. Ozil is determined to stay and he is making ridiculous wages, so will we really be able to sell him? That’s the big question.
Will we sell? Maybe.
Should we sell? Yes.
Ideal transfer fee: £20m
