Arsenal: The case for selling each and every player this summer
By Josh Sippie
Alex Iwobi
Depending on the day, Alex Iwobi is either a key to Arsenal’s future or someone that needs to be sold right now. He’s certainly caught in the crossfire more times than not, and that comes down to how woefully inconsistent he is.

Unai Emery was undoubtedly expecting a lot out of Iwobi this year, seeing as how he found him consistent game time no matter the situation, but it got to the point where there was just no one else, so he had to play Iwobi. Otherwise we would have no other option but to play Sead Kolasinac as a winger, or some craziness like that.
Iwobi has had a lot of time to prove himself and while he may be inching towards improvement, we have not seen him pay back the immense faith that has been placed him him, both by Arsene Wenger and by Unai Emery.
As such, I don’t think that Iwobi is anywhere near untouchable, and think that, given the transfer fee he could fetch, there is a decent likelihood that he’s headed for an exit.
Of course, when you consider the amount of investment that’s going to be needed to fill the winger positions, it may be smarter to keep hold of Iwobi, because unlike the defense, we are really going to need the extra bodies.
Will we sell? Maybe.
Should we sell? Maybe.
Ideal transfer fee: £25m
Finally, since I am skipping Alexandre Lacazette since he absolutely should not be sold, let’s talk Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
