Arsenal: The case for selling each and every player this summer
By Josh Sippie
Shkodran Mustafi
He sealed his fate a long time ago. As it stands, Shkodran Mustafi is a desperation defender and nothing more. If Rob Holding was healthy, I have no doubts that Mustafi would have seen about half the time he ended up seeing this year. And for the first time on this list (but certainly not the last time), I get to talk about a guy who the only real question is how much we can get for him. I don’t have to make the case for him to be sold at all.

It’s no secret that Mustafi has not improved since arriving at the club. Obviously he has some fantastic physical attributes, but his primary downfall comes in his inability to not royally screw up at least once every couple of weeks.
It’s remarkable, really, the consistency with which he makes colossal mistakes. You just know they are coming.
As such, and with the defense being the No. 1 place where Arsenal need to invest heavily this summer, Mustafi has to be cut away, and quickly, to help fund whatever help we are going to get coming in the other direction.
Like I said, the only real question is how much we can get out of a relatively young, ridiculously mistake-ridden, tremendous physical defender like Mustafi is. So let’s face facts:
Will we sell? Yes.
Should we sell? Yes.
Ideal transfer fee: £25m
Moving on to more centerbacks.
