5.0. Played really well in the first half, finding some lovely passes into the attacking phases of play from deep. Then completely lost control of the game in the second half, with the Chelsea counter-attack utterly overrunning the Arsenal midfield. A lack of protection for the back three/back four was a serious issue after the break and his lack of athleticism in comparison to N’Golo Kante, for instance, was and is an issue.. CM. Arsenal. Arsenal. LUCAS TORREIRA. 5.5. Handed him a slightly higher rating for the fact that he was clearly affected by the loss, which is more than can be said for many of the players on the pitch. His passing was a little limited, but he handled Eden Hazard excellently in the first half before tiring and losing efficacy after the break.. CM
