Arsenal: Complete player rankings for the 2018/19 season

3. Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang
Dude won the Golden Boot. I don’t know what else we could ask from him. So why then is he at No. 3 and why then did I rate him 4th? Well, again, these three were so close it was hard to separate who had the biggest impact. Obviously Arsenal would not have been the same without Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, but my only reason for rating him below Koscielny and (No. 3) is that there were times where I wanted more.

That’s all I’ll say on that. Let’s talk about how ridiculously amazing this guy has been for Arsenal.
From the moment he arrived at the club, Aubameyang has been carrying on where he left off in the Bundesliga, proving to be one of the most prolific goal scorers in the world. And in doing so, he helped the Gunners get past their massive defensive problems and became half of the best striking pair in the world.
The crazy part was that he got better as the season went on. I didn’t think that players of Aubameyang’s caliber could still improve when they’re already so good, but he did, and by the end, he was assisting, linking up play, and going well beyond just scoring goals.

By process of elimination, No. 2 and No. 1 are obvious.
