Dinos Mavropanos – 5

Injuries, injuries, injuries. Last summer, it was reported that Dinos Mavropanos would miss the start of the season with a groin problem, but that it would not be a serious issue and that he would not miss extended time with it. Fast forward the first six months of the season and he was still yet to kick a ball.

The young defender did make some sporadic appearance in the latter months of the season, but he looked short of the pace, especially in a rough outing against Watford. I will not dock him too harshly for these, however, as it is very difficult for any player to come into a team having not played much football, nevermind a 21-year-old with three senior Arsenal appearances to his name prior to this season.

This was a little disappointing from Mavropanos, but he can hardly be held accountable. Hopefully next season will provide better health.
