8.0. Was targetted in the first half, Newcastle looking to press his first touch, but he handled it well. In the second half, Maitland-Niles was excellent. Assisted Aubameyang’s prodded finish, first intercepting a long pass with good speed and anticipation and then finding the Gabonian with a lovely cross, showing vision and quality in the process. 7.5. This was the Nacho Monreal of yesteryear. There was not the same athleticism getting forward as in previous performances, but he was stout defensively, which is odd for an Arsenal player. Intelligent when he pressed the Newcastle attackers, rarely beaten in wide areas, and accurate in his distribution.. LB. Arsenal. NACHO MONREAL
