Arsenal travelled to Newcastle United to open their Premier League season on Sunday afternoon. Here are the player ratings from the 1-0 victory.

Arsenal opened their Premier League campaign with a hard-earned 1-0 win over Newcastle United. Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang did what Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang does, prodding over an onrushing Martin Dubravka with an excellent finish, while the defence, shockingly, held tight at the other end for the first away clean sheet of the season. Goalkeeper

BERND LENO

GK, Arsenal

7.0
