3. Granit Xhaka vs… Jorginho?

Of course I was always going to have a beef with what Granit Xhaka was rated. Since arriving in the Premier League with an appropriate 84 rating, he has been steadily docked, from 82 to 81, where he currently resides.

More from Pain in the Arsenal

Even after his best year last year, a year when he was integral to the successes of the club, he got the same thing Rob Holding and Aubameyang got—a great big wad of nothing.

And maybe it’s hard to give him a boost because his statistical output is hard to quantify. Yeah, that sounds good. Until you look at Jorginho, sitting pretty with an 83 rating.

In what world is Jorginho a better player than Xhaka? Xhaka is far more season, he is far more reliable, and even if you only want to make a judgment based on stats, Xhaka wins in every single category down to goals and assists. He does more across the board, yet the overlords at EA think he’s worse than Jorginho and only a point better than Harry f****** Winks.

I get that maybe most Arsenal fans don’t like Xhaka, but come on. This is ridiculous. A one point boost to 82 would have made me happy, but then again, there is no world that I’m aware of where Jorginho is a better player than Xhaka. Honestly.

If you think I’m angry now, just keep going.
