Arsenal Vs Eintracht Frankfurt: 5 key players to watch – Fountains of youth
2. Reiss Nelson
If you had no idea how old he was and had never seen him play prior to this season, you might be wondering what all the fuss is about surrounding Reiss Nelson. Bar a few scintillating touches here and there, the 19-year-old has largely disappointed in his first full season as a fully-fledged senior player.
Thankfully, however, there is plenty of evidence to prove his undeniable talent, even if he is yet to fully figure it all out. Exceptionally quick and explosive, a technical, slaloming dribbler, and a good end product, especially when shooting on goal, Nelson has all the tools you would want in a modern-day winger. But it would be nice if he can show that on the pitch.
I am waiting for Nelson to blow me away — I feel lots of other fans are feeling the same. He is yet to have that true, breakthrough game in which he wrecks an opposing defender time and time again. There are flashes, glimmers, moments of quality that hint at his potential. But can he put it together for a full match?
