Full-Backs

RB. Arsenal. CALUM CHAMBERS. 8.0. This was the type of game that would suit Chambers when playing at right-back. Not up against a lightning-quick winger who can beat him in one-on-ones and with plenty of the ball to get forward, Chambers was excellent. Passing was very good, assisted the opening goal with a superb cross, and looked like a right-back. Even moved to left-back after Tierney’s withdrawal and did not look out of shape, as well as notching his second assist with a terrific run and cross for Nelson. He should not start there against United, but in the form he is in, he might be ready to play centre-half.

Arsenal. KIERAN TIERNEY. 7.5. I love him already. Amazingly aggressive in his tackling, quick and powerful driving forward, and the quality to deliver dangerous crosses when in position to do so. Also looked very quick, healthy and fit, running throughout the 75 minutes he was on the pitch, which is the most important thing. He and Bellerin really will transform this team.. LB
