Arsenal vs Sheffield United: 5 key players to see it through
By Josh Sippie
1. Hector Bellerin/Kieran Tierney
No, it’s not cheating to have two players here. I did it because I am about to say the exact same thing about both of them, so buckle down and get ready to interchange names.
Neither one has played in the Premier League yet this season, so it’s hard to say if there will be any rust that gets in the way of them becoming the dominant presences they are, but time will tell. And time will also tell just how big of an impact they will have, but if Unai Emery does decide to start them both, and he better, this is an excellent game to do it.
For the last time, I’ll reference the Sheffield wingback situation, which can lead to a stretched back line and an isolated sole centerback. No one could benefit more from that more than Aubameyang, who beats isolated defenders in his sleep.
Tierney and Bellerin will have Saka and Pepe to team up with to really stretch that midfield and back line, and if they do their parts as well as they have been in the midweek, it will drastically change the face of this match.
