7.0. Guendouzi is the best central midfielder in the squad. Drove Arsenal forward, looked for progressive passes, showed terrific dribbling ability and was the leading man for much of the second half.. SUB. Arsenal. MATTEO GUENDOUZI

6.5. Like Guendouzi, looked really tidy in possession. Slid a few beautiful passes in between the Vitoria defenders, dribbled well from deep in his own half. Sometimes tries too much, sometimes slows down attacks a little as well. But clearly very talented.. SUB. Arsenal. DANI CEBALLOS

Arsenal. NICOLAS PEPE. 9.0. This was the Nicolas Pepe the Gunners thought they were signing in the summer. Scored the equaliser with a lovely freekick, curling a shot into the far corner from distance. Then looked buoyed with confidence. Brought out the tricks, spun past a couple of defenders, teed up Rob Holding with another lovely freekick from a similar position. And then, to top it all off, curls another beauty into the top corner. Two goals. A match-winning performance. Superb.. SUB
