Arsenal will try to find their winning ways against third place Leicester City as the tailspin continues. Here are five guys who should give us hope.

Arsenal traveled to Vitoria at midweek and put forth one of the most pallid efforts I have seen in years. There was zero fight, zero hope, zero everything. Except capitulation. There was plenty of capitulation. As always.

It wasn’t the first time the Gunners have blown a lead, and it won’t be the last. Honestly, we should be kind of numb to it by now. Even against Vitoria, it was just a matter of waiting until the opposing equalizer went in.

Next up is Leicester City. I have never been so nervous to face Leicester City, which is saying something. Even in their title winning season I wasn’t nervous to face them. But now? Now that we are falling apart and they are just getting stronger and stronger? Now I’m nervous.

That said, you can’t ignore the fact that even if Unai Emery throws out a tactical s***show, we still have tremendous talent on the pitch, and that’s why this list is dedicated to the most talented players on the team.

If those most talented players can step up and overthrow the complete lack of a game plan, we have hope. So let’s talk about who can save us. We start with No. 5.

5. Kieran Tierney

I don’t know why he was starting against Vitoria. It makes me really nervous that Unai Emery might be overthinking himself and tossing Sead Kolasinac back into the Premier League starting XI, maybe because of the new video of Kolasinac fighting off the thugs, who knows.

But I still have to believe that Tierney will be starting, and given how prevalent he has been in his starts, he could have a massive part to play in opening up at least one attacking lane against the Foxes. Of course, if Hector Bellerin starts opposite him and they can both get off the blocks fast, then bonus points, but as for Tierney, he’s only going to get better.

And it’d be so convenient if he could get even better for this one.

Moving on to No. 4.
