Arsenal vs Leicester City: 5 key players to avoid another capitulation
By Josh Sippie
2. Alexandre Lacazette
It’s been hard going for Alexandre Lacazette since returning from injury. And it always seems to be hard going any time he returns from injury. Of course, that’s not out of the ordinary. Players struggled to get back into the swing of things after an injury all the time. But it’s just more noticeable when Lacazette does it because he’s just so damn important to the grand scheme.

Starting up top, as he will undoubtedly be doing, Lacazette’s link-up play always gives me hope that any creative issues will be eliminated just because Lacazette is quite good in that arena himself. He hasn’t scored since being back healthy, but he has assisted, and right now, that’s just as good, since no one on this team knows how to assist consistently.
That said, Lacazette is going to start scoring again, because he doesn’t go long without scoring. His finishing ability is better than Aubameyang’s, he just needs the confidence to get back on top of his own capabilities. It would be mighty convenient if that happened against Leicester. Don’t forget, it was against Leicester that Lacazette scored his first ever goal, just two minutes into his Arsenal career.
And it was a header too.
Finally, No. 1.
