4. Kieran Tierney

Without knowing what the other side of the defense will look like, we know for a fact that Kieran Tierney is healthy and available, which makes him someone we can count on as a key performer simply by referring to what we’ve seen him do throughout the year.

More from Pain in the Arsenal

With Tierney, we have the exact fullback we’ve been yearning for for years, and Norwich’s right flank is particularly susceptible to attack which Tierney will be more than happy to attend to, seeing as how that’s kind of his thing.

Depending on Ljungberg’s first ever starting XI, it might also be a case of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang playing left wing, which would magnify the importance of Tierney even more, since the shortcomings of Aubameyang in any facet not involving goal scoring are… limited. Meaning that Tierney’s defense will be crucial, especially with such a battered defense holding down the center of the back line.

Across the board, Tierney’s play is going to be massive towards ensuring that we perform well on both sides of the pitch. So yeah, he’s pretty important.

No. 3 is coming up.
