Arsenal travel to Crystal Palace on Saturday lunchtime as the Premier League returns. Here is the Gunners’ predicted starting XI as Mikel Arteta’s pecking order begins to form.

Arsenal have hope. And it all starts with Mikel Arteta, who is now getting into the grips of the normal rhythms and routines of the Premier League season. On Saturday lunchtime, Arteta takes his side to Crystal Palace with the opportunity to, remarkably, move level on points with Spurs and just six points off the top four. But to do so, they must win away from home in the Premier League for only the second time since August 11th.
