Centre-Backs

7.2. Man of the Match. Out of nowhere, he’s learned how to confidently control the ball. It’s a beautiful thing to see. And he defends so much better than I remember too. Had a fantastic clearance off the line in just before the 80th minute. He had to get it absolutely right and he did. That was what gave him the slight bump for man of the match. He literally saved the game.. CB. Arsenal. SOKRATIS

Arsenal. DAVID LUIZ. 6.8. Hard done on the deflection. Defended very well on the day and his passing was killer. It started the Aubameyang goal, after all. That said, if you ever want a “how not to take a free kick” tutorial, just look at his in the 85th minute.. CB
