Central Midfield

7.4. Great with his distribution, as always. Provided that attacking backboard and defensive outlet, as always. Had a few nervy moments, but neither came back to haunt, so I have trouble holding it against him that much. Also, how about that clearance off the line? Also, if he hadn’t made that unbelievable block just before the 90th minute, we’d be in a much different state. Without him, this game would have been drastically different.. CM. Arsenal. GRANIT XHAKA

6.7. Did his duty. Enforced the midfield and did a great job getting forward. This is probably what Unai Emery had in mind requiring him to play further forward, but it’s taken til Mikel Arteta to really iron it out. Defended well, attacked well. A god match from him.. CM. Arsenal. LUCAS TORREIRA

6.1. Lost the ball and won it back in the 5th minute. Not sure I’ve ever seen that from him before. From there, he struggled. Couldn’t seem to figure out the right weight on his passes and over hit the ball more than we’re used to seeing. He did create four chances, but much like Lacazette, this just wasn’t his match.. CAM. Arsenal. MESUT OZIL
