Front Three

6.0. The typical Nicolas Pepe performance. Had some glittering moments with pace, skill, technical quality and brilliant balance and quickness. But never really delivered much in the final third. Lost the ball a little too frequently at times — eight dispossessions in total, more than any of his teammates — and seemed more hesitant to drive at defenders at times as well. Still, the talent is there.. RW. Arsenal. NICOLAS PEPE

Not the typical performance from Gabriel Martinelli. Usually, he is quiet until the crucial moments. In this game, he was neat and tidy in possession, especially when linking with Bukayo Saka down the left side, worked hard out of it, and was often the primary outlet in the second half. Lost possession the second-most in the team, which he needs to work on, but at 18, the future is only bright.. LW. Arsenal. GABRIEL MARTINELLI. 6.5

He certainly knows how to score goals. But before sweeping in Bukayo Saka’s cross, it was Eddie Nketiah’s play with his back to the goal that shone. Pinning the Bournemouth defender, Nketiah received a fizzed pass, teed the ball up first-time for Joe Willock, before bursting into the penalty area. He struggled for service throughout the match, but worked hard, ran the channels, and pressed defenders.. ST. Arsenal. EDDIE NKETIAH. 7.0
