Arsenal: 5 key players to keep Champions League alive vs Olympiakos
By Josh Sippie
4. Sead Kolasinac
Is anyone else as excited as I am to get Sead Kolasinac back? If so, this needs to be fixed. You need to be excited, because in case you’ve forgotten, Kolasinac is player of the season potential if he could ever stay healthy. His attacking fire matches Bukayo Saka‘s, and while they are two completely different players with two completely different approaches, Kolasinac is an equal.

The big difference is that Kolasinac bulldozes people rather than going around them. Which can be useful against Olympiakos, because of course it can.
Seriously though, we haven’t had an actual fullback in awhile, and getting Kolasinac back opens up a world of opportunity with Saka, with Granit Xhaka, with everything. So let’s see him get back in there, strong as an ox, because that’s what he is, and start mixing things up. He’s a fierce competitor and will take the fight to the opposition, no matter who they are.
Plus, if I recall correctly, Olympiakos are a scrappy side, that won’t be afraid to throw some ‘bows, maybe some punches, and Kolasinac is just the kind of guy you need in that kind of situation. Just ask Mesut Ozil.
