3. Olivier Giroud will not be forgotten

Where Giroud dominates with his physical presence, strength, superiority in the air, and terrific hold-up play with his back to goal, Lacazette is a sharper, smaller, more nimble attacker, who likes to duck and weave his was around and through defenders, not bulldoze over them.
But while Lacazette is the unquestioned starter, having been ushered into the team for his debut from the off, Giroud will not be forgotten, and as a second striker who has a knack for scoring from off the bench, there are certainly worse players that Arsenal could be relying upon.
Giroud scored the winner here with a fantastic header. He also offered a crucial focal point for his teammates to play off in and around the final third. It was his run and excellent lay-off for Lacazette that led to the corner, for instance. Lacazette, then, will be the main man, but Giroud is not going anywhere quietly. He will fight for his place, and Arsenal will be all the better for it.
