2. He’s producing goals

What more could you want? All these people complaining that Nicolas Pepe isn’t doing enough in his first year (!!!) yet he has more Premier League assists than any other two players combined. Yeah, go ahead and read that over again if you need further convincing.

More from Pain in the Arsenal

He’s also got the third most Premier League goals on the squad. No big deal there either, he’s behind just our two superstar strikers.

In the Europa League, only Gabriel Martinelli and Bukayo Saka have produced more goals than Pepe. And overall? That’s the best part. Only Aubameyang has produced more goals than Pepe.

That’s right, haters. Pepe is our second most effective goal producer and he’s played about 800 minutes less than the only other guy that is producing more goals than him—Aubameyang.

How exactly is that not good enough? He’s giving us all the threat we need to goal and the statistical end product to prove it.

But wait, there’s more!
