3. Leadership
You can never have too much of it, especially at a club like Arsenal that has been notorious for struggling with on the pitch leadership. Especially as of late.

Xhaka’s leadership took a hit after Crystal Palace, but fans are largely responsible for the downfall. The fact that he’s since come back and gotten even better since then and showcased even more of his leadership on and off the pitch is remarkable. Fallouts like that are impossible to come back from, but Xhaka has done the impossible.
He was captain for a reason, and even if he is never made captain again, he’s a leader on the pitch regardless. He’s an orchestrator, he’s a general, he’s the kind of guy you build a midfield around because he is already strong—but getting even better—about organization and positioning. With the right supporting cast, he could engineer a fantastic midfield presence all around, even beyond what he provides on his own.
We have guys like David Luiz, who are also great leaders, but like I said, you can never have too much leadership. Xhaka can’t help but lead.
