Arsenal have some spending to do. Here is a dream target from every Premier League team that the Gunners should attempt to sign.

At some point, the summer transfer window will take place. And for Arsenal, it is a hugely important period in which they can instigate Mikel Arteta’s rebuild. One way to protect yourself when spending lavishly is to sign players that are already proven in the Premier League. Liverpool have taken advantage of this in the past, signing the likes of Andy Robertson, Virgil van Dijk, Georginio Wijnaldum, James Milner, Jordan Henderson and Sadio Mane among many others that have gone on to play key roles.

So, should the Gunners follow a similar avenue, who would be the best players to target? Well, here is one player from every Premier League team that Arsenal could look to sign this summer. As a note, some of these never going to happen.

Jack Grealish might be the perfect signing for Arsenal to chase this summer. The Gunners need a long-term replacement for Mesut Ozil. The German has slowed in recent years and has looked especially limited this season, scoring just once and adding only two assists. As modern football has demanded from creative midfielders, Ozil has seen the game pass him by. But Grealish is the perfect modern successor.

Like Ozil, his game revolves around his creative skill set. Grealish has created 2.7 chances per 90 minutes and provided six assists. His pass accuracy rate is 84.4% and he averages 3.8 cross attempts per game. He is always looking to probe the opposition penalty area and final third, which leads to his excellent production.

But where he differs from Ozil is his athleticism, work-rate and dribbling skill. Grealish is stocky, explosive, deceptively quick. He has been fouled 4.9 times per 90 minutes. Of those that have played more than 1000 minutes, the next closest is Wilfried Zaha with 3.3 times per 90 minutes. He presses, he dribbles directly and purposefully, he knows how to shield the ball, but he is also then able to use it. Grealish is a modernised Mesut Ozil, which is absolutely perfect what Arsenal need.
