Newcastle United
If Adama Traore is the best dribbler in the Premier League, and he is, — in fact, some statistics suggest he is the best dribbler in the world — then Allan Saint-Maximin is not too far behind. The Newcastle United winger has been compared to Traore a lot, and for good reason. They are extremely similar players.
Both are frighteningly fast and deceptively stocky and powerful, they can twist and turn in any way necessary to leave defenders dumbfounded. Their explosiveness means they are impossible to hold down for a full 90 minutes, and they possess enough skill and control to steer the ball in the vague direction to later collect it. In a word, they are chaos, both in the positive and negative sense.
At this stage, the difference between the two is their end product. Saint-Maximin may complete a ridiculous 5.7 dribbles per 90 minutes, second-best in the Premier League behind only Traore. And the Frenchman might 1.9 times per 90 minutes. But he also has just two goals and one assist. At 23, there are enough tools for Mikel Arteta to work with, but as is often the case when you handle chaos, catastrophe could strike.
