Arsenal: Nabil Fekir and all of this weeks transfer rumors rated
By Marc Gibbons
Arsenal has a fresh batch of transfer rumors to think about, so let’s look at each one and rate it based on the probability that it happens.
In the current footballing hiatus, transfer rumors are still doing the usual rounds across the media and social media. Whilst we haven’t quite reached silly season in terms of rumors of players joining Arsenal, there are some names who have been mentioned who realistically are unobtainable due to our current situation.
If the season resumes and the Gunners do finish strongly and in a European position it will certainly help our chances of attracting a better quality of player, however at this stage everything is uncertain.
Here are four players who have been linked with us over the last week or so and my thoughts on our chances of signing them.
4. Pape Gueye
I can see this one happening. His name has been mentioned over the last month or so, and he would be a cheap option for Mikel Arteta given that his transfer fee is only around the £7million mark.
A box to box midfielder needs to be a key position that Arsenal recruits this summer and given that Gueye is in the mold of Patrick Vieira, it makes any potential signing all the more intriguing for the club.
Early reports say that Papa Gueye is the competitive type of midfielder that Arteta wants at the club and I would fully expect Gueye to be one of the first through the door this summer.
Transfer probability rating 5/5
