2. Odsonne Edouard

Whether it’s as a replacement for Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang or Alexandre Lacazette or even both, you can pretty much guarantee a new striker will be at the club next season.

More from Pain in the Arsenal

Over the last few weeks a few names have been mentioned, Raul Jiminez, Moussa Dembele, Luka Jovic and now we have landed on Edouard.

Given his strike rate in the albeit inferior Scottish Premier League, it was only a matter of time before Odsonne Edouard was linked to a bigger club. Given the fact that he is young and French Arsenal’s name has of course been mentioned.

If Lacazette or Aubameyang do leave the club then Arteta will be under pressure to replace them with a big name signing and although Edouard doesn’t have that status, he is the type of player who could potentially lead our forward line effectively. If we do sign him we would likely have to pay more than we paid for Kieran Tierney last summer, but still would be less than we would pay for a forward from another club.

Transfer probability rating 4/5

Lastly, rumor No. 1.
