3. Richard Ledezma

Maybe this is a “hot topic” addition, but Richard Ledezma is everything the club is currently lacking, and he is drawing some heavy praise from a ton of people who know the game and know it well.

More from Pain in the Arsenal

Currently on the books at PSV Eindhoven, Ledezma turned down a potential move to Barcelona because he enjoyed his time at Eindhoven’s youth side so much. It’s easy to see why, with Eindhoven U19 manager Ruud van Nistelrooy profusely praising Ledezma.

“He’s making a difference in midfield with very quick-thinking passes, movement, can score a goal, play people in, he’s creating chances for the whole team,” he said.

Ledezma just had his contract extended at the Dutch side by two years, but you can tell from watching him, or just from Nistelrooy’s comments, that he fits the billing of what we need—passing, creativity, movement. Everything that Mesut Ozil was supposed to bring but rarely did.

This is someone to watch for the future. If he keeps impressing, sign him up before anyone else can.
