2. Antonee Robinson

Arsenal look to be set to offload some of their fullbacks this year, hence the links to more, Which makes Antonee Robinson a tremendous option to infuse the leftback position with a bit of youthful vibrance to pair with Kieran Tierney.

More from Pain in the Arsenal

Robinson is on the books at Wigan Athletic, who are flying in around the relegation zone of the EFL Championship, but Robinson has been one of their bright spots, playing almost every single match and doing so with a defensive solidity that you’d expect to find in centerbacks. Given the state of the club, he’s had to face up to some stern pressure from opposing attacks, but with 4.5 defensive actions per match, he ranks among the best in the league.

Capable of playing wingback just as easily, Robinson is quite good at dribbling through traffic and providing service for attackers in the middle of the pitch. He plays with that delectable combination of athleticism and strength.

Unfortunately, Robinson recently had to undergo surgery for an irregular heartbeat, but he will be as determined as ever when he gets back and I would love for that to soon turn into a move to the Emirates.

Finally, No. 1.
