1. Sergino Dest

When you choose to represent America rather than the Netherlands, heads will always turn. But Sergino Dest is proving to have made the right decision, and the hype is having a hard time keeping up with his meteoric rise.

Dest has been crushing it at Ajax, one of the best clubs in the world. He’s been a regular for the Dutch giants, playing 20 Eredivisie matches, 15 as a starter, and he’s racked up four assists in that time, showcasing a tremendous ability to infiltrate down that right-hand flank and deliver workable balls into the box.

Defensively, he is proactive but intelligent, rarely forfeiting his position and always retaining the cool head and composure of a veteran.

Arsenal has been ridiculously linked to Jonjoe Kenny, so why not turn that attention to someone younger and with more upward trajectory? Dest would be the perfect compliment to Hector Bellerin, the perfect guy to keep the pressure on and the perfect starter, when the opportunity does arise.
