Arsenal have far too many transfer rumors to sort through these days, so here are 15 major rumors rated by plausibility and need.

Arsenal‘s transfer prospectus, by Mikel Arteta‘s own admission, is a bit of an open-ended plotline right now. Without knowing where the club will finish the season, and thus what kind of financial boost we can expect to find based on European competition qualification.

Which will, in turn, determine who we have to sell and who we get to stay. The biggest question being Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang. He’s arguably our most important player as well as being the one who would bring the biggest return.

That leads us to who we may acquire in the summer. Given Arteta’s own words, we have to explore all possible options, from cheap and under-the-radar to prolific and world-renowned.

With that in mind, I’ve chosen 15 of the biggest transfer rumors we’ve heard about these past few weeks and graded them, on a scale of 0 to 10, in two key categories—Plausibility and Need. So let’s dig in and start with our first of the 15 rumors.

15. Orkun Kokcu—Plausibility 9/10, Need 4/10

Orkun Kokcu was linked to a move to the Emirates since before this pause even began. The young Dutch midfielder is an inspiring young attacking prospect who has only just begun to get his feet sorted on a professional level.

Kokcu would primarily fit into that hopefully vacant No. 10 role. Being as young as he is, it makes a lot of sense that Arteta could see him as a superb under-the-radar solution. The only reason I don’t see him as a big need is his supposed price tag of £23m and the presence of Emile Smith Rowe, who would presumably play the exact same position.

He would be an interesting addition but on the list of clear and present needs, he just doesn’t rank very high.

Onto a very exciting link, and one that I grow more excited about the more I think about it.
