Strong, tough, powerful and timely, he has the awareness to recognise when the ball is unprotected and then is decisive to win it. He is more than willing to clear out the attacker in an aggressive manner. He is a superb slide tackler, though this is not always a good thing, and he has the frame and strength to ease opponents off the ball and recover possession for his team.
Disasi wins 1.26 tackles per 90. Of those, his team recovers possession over two-thirds of the time. When faced by dribbles, he attempts 0.93 tackles per 90 and wins 52% of those. They are superb statistics for a young defender.
Disasi’s active style has been superbly successful for Reims. The French side has conceded only 21 goals on the year, the fewest of any Ligue 1 side, the sixth-fewest post-shot expected goals, the fifth-fewest shots per game, and only Paris Saint-Germain have more clean sheets on the season.
