Arsenal: Every single reason not to sell Hector Bellerin
By Josh Sippie
5. He’s still one of the best
On the last slide, I mentioned finding someone to replace Bellerin. That’s not easy to do when you consider that Bellerin is still one of the best rightbacks out there, even in spite of the lapse he’s had following his debilitating injury and recovery. When he’s been healthy, we’ve still seen just how amazing of a player he is.

Which means that in order not to suffer a setback, we would need to replace him with a rightback who is as good, if not better. That is not easy to come by. Many would say Achraf Hakimi could play the part, but Hakimi is still piddling around with Real Madrid and Borussia Dortmund. Winning him over would take some kind of investment. The likes of which we would not get in return for selling Bellerin.
That’s the thing though—Bellerin is just as good as Hakimi is he’s just given the time and the health and can stay on the pitch. He’s been one of the most highly sought after rightbacks in the world since he was a teenager. The only thing that got in the way was one big injury. He didn’t just lose all his talent because of that one big injury.
